Hiking, Trekking e Mountainbike a Livigno

Livigno is undoubtedly the home of sport and of outdoor activities and the vast range of alternatives that a18> offers for every season are the most tangible proof.

In summer, you can explore this beautiful area by mountain bike, or along the marked trails for hiking and Nordic walking.
The Mottolino Bike Park offers challenging, adrenaline-fuelled dirt trails, suitable for cycling pros and lovers of downhill cycling; the Carosello 3000 Bike Park, on the other hand, offers new flow trails, suitable for everyone regardless of their skill level: the flow country is ideal for those who want to combine safety with adrenaline!

There are also countless trails both within and outside the Stelvio National Park, ranging in difficulty, which can be explored independently by following maps and recommended routes, or with qualified guides who know these areas inside out and organise toursand hikes to discover the flora and fauna characteristic of these peaks.

There are also plenty of events during the summer that attract lovers of jogging at high altitude, known as skyrunning. The best known is the Livigno Skymarathon international event: a 34 km high-altitude run along beaten and unpaved trails, with a total elevation gain of 2,700 metres!

Thanks to its 1,816 metres altitude, Livigno is the ideal destination for altitude training: Many athletes and champions choose it for their training camps and sessions, precisely because of the benefits that altitude has on blood circulation and muscle oxygenation.

Those who prefer more leisurely activities, or ones that are suitable for children, will be delighted to know that Livigno is criss-crossed by a long cycle path – which can also be used for rollerblading or road cycling – that runs alongside the River Spöl and offers unforgettable views.

Not far from our apartments is also the Larix Park: an adventure park set amongst ancient larch trees, where adults and children alike can test their limits on suspended courses at various heights.

The artificial lake is also easily accessible and can now be explored by canoe, kayaks and windsurfing boards, where you can switch off and relax surrounded by greenery.

Practicality, fun and adrenaline: in Livigno you’ll find the school for guiding safely, sporting and competitive on snow and ice.

At the Ice Circuit, professional drivers are on hand to teach you how to handle different types of cars on low-grip surfaces, with a theory session in the heated hospitality area and a practical session on the track!
