Tonnes of activities are waiting on the snowy peaks

The Livigno ski area is famous worldwide for its slopes and the fun that awaits ski and snowboarding lovers!

In addition to downhill skiing and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and freeriding enthusiasts will also find plenty to get their teeth into: The Mottolino Snowpark is an international landmark for these sports, while a new and promising snowpark was recently created on the slopes of the Carosello 3000 Mountain Park. What’s more, the Tagliede ski lifts connect it to the city centre, which means you can arrive right to your doorstep with your ski boots still on your feet!

You will also find special slopes and ski lifts that can be used by Fat Bikes on this side of the mountain. These are mountain bikes with “fat wheels”, allowing them to be ridden on the snowy slopes and the white valleys of Livigno.

Adrenalin and special suggestions

If you love trying new things and you aren’t scared of heights, why not try Heli-skiing? A mountain guide will take you to the highest peaks in a helicopter and from there you can ski down the untouched trails, far from the beaten path.

If, on the other hand, you would prefer to explore the area by taking a few excursions, the Livigno tourism body organises many tours into the forests with snowshoes – at night too – with stops in traditional mountain lodges, where you can try delicious traditional local dishes

Ice Driving School

If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, which combines utility, fun and adrenalin, Livigno has just the thing. Here you will find a driving school that specialises in safety, sports and race driving on snow and ice.

At the Ghiacciodromo Ice Driving School, professional drivers are waiting to teach you how to manoeuvre different kinds of cars on low-grip terrain. It consists of a theory lesson in the heated chalet and a practical component on the track!
